The site is approximately 1.21 hectares and comprises a 1980s office block, arranged over two storeys and a small section of surplus Tesco car park land. It’s prominent position on Burlington Road means that it acts as a gateway to West Barnes. The site is bordered by Burlington Road (B282) along the eastern boundary, a large Tesco superstore to the west, Pyl Brook and Raynes Park High School to the north and a predominantly residential area with a local centre to the south.
The site is reasonably well connected to public transport and is a sustainable, brownfield site to accommodate housing growth. Historically, the site was a printing press and formerly occupied by Bradbury Wilkinson & Co from 1917 who were an English engraver, printer of banknotes, postage stamps and share certificates.
